Family to-dos live on their own islands

Tasks, reminders and a calendar for you, your partner and family — on living islands. Windows glow when someone is home, the garden wilts if forgotten, and Shurshik hints what to do next.

Islands your family lives on

Every part of life has its island: the flat, the country house, grandma. Tasks sit on places — in the house, the garden, the kennel — a spark glows above the place, and windows light up when someone is home.

Swipe the islands or use the arrows, tap the house and places — a spark glows where tasks are waiting.

FAQ

How tasks, voice, AI, files, invitations and data protection work in Ladim.

Can I use Ladim already?

The web app is available. The iPhone app is being tested in TestFlight and some features are still being refined. We will announce its public release on this site.

Which devices does Ladim support?

A browser now, and an iPhone test build. Android and dedicated apps for other platforms are planned; release dates have not been announced.

Do I need Telegram?

No. The bot and mini app are additional ways to work with tasks. The web and iPhone apps work independently. Bot delivery depends on network availability.

Are tasks encrypted so the server cannot read them?

No: end-to-end encryption of task contents is not implemented yet. HTTPS protects the connection, and account and island permissions control access. The server processes titles, notes and steps. A private island label does not mean the server cannot read its contents.

How do I work with family or friends?

Invite people to a shared island. Access depends on membership and assigned permissions. Personal and shared islands organize tasks differently; they do not offer different encryption guarantees.

Can I add and edit subtasks?

Tasks have steps you can add, edit and complete. When using AI, review proposed changes before confirming, particularly the target task and the steps themselves.

What can an invited guest see?

An event link lets a guest see that event, respond to the invitation and take steps. It does not invite them to the entire island. Share the link only with people who should see the event.

Can people book available time through a link?

Eligible events can offer booking links with scheduled time slots. Availability depends on the task and island settings. Booking is not supported on private islands.

How does voice input work?

On iPhone, the device can transcribe speech, while rules or a selected model interpret the text. Transcription and text interpretation are separate settings. Cloud transcription sends audio to the selected provider; check this mode in settings.

Can I use AI without sending text to the cloud?

On iPhone you can download a compatible local model and select on-device processing. Capabilities depend on the model and runtime; review complex requests. Local processing does not disable server synchronization of ordinary tasks.

How do I connect a remote model?

Choose a provider and model in AI settings and add your own key if required. Requests go through the Ladim server to the provider. The key is encrypted at rest; remote AI receives data needed for the action. Available promotional access is shown separately in settings.

Can every model understand images and audio?

No. Text-only Qwen3 0.6B and 1.7B do not gain image or audio support from their size. Images require vision support; audio requires speech recognition. Ladim’s current local GGUF runtime accepts text. File format and device compatibility also matter.

Where are attached files stored?

Files attached to ordinary tasks are uploaded to the server and linked to the task. Viewing requires task access and a network connection. Upload limits are shown when adding files. Private islands do not support attachments yet.

How much does it cost?

Basic task features are free. Requests using your own API key are billed by the provider. Check settings for promotional availability and terms; a free app does not mean free requests to every model.

Can I connect an external calendar?

Options depend on the calendar and platform. Not every connection supports changes in both directions. Check the sync direction before connecting; more integrations are on the roadmap.
